In Matthew 24:14, what does Jesus say in the context of His Signs of the Times discourse?  The Gospel will be preached in the whole world and then the end will come.  How is the Gospel going to go to the entire world?  I hope your answer was, “Through me.”  He’s waiting for you and me to be part of the fulfillment of this prophecy.  This Gospel will be a witness to “all” nations.  There are currently 232 identified nations in the world, including Vatican City:

God Seeks His Own
Written by Kim LaCoste

Everyone is at a different point in his or her spiritual walk with God. Some are ahead, moving at a good pace, while others may be just getting started or has only been “walking” with God a short time. I feel for people who are spiritually brokenhearted and pray that he/she will seek the Lord before it’s too late. As the parable in Luke 16 teaches, it’s before one’s death that He must be sought. None of us should ever be in the same predicament as the rich man in hell pleading with Abraham. Granted, there is no hell, but that’s not the point of the parable. The point is, while we are alive, we have the opportunity to turn our lives around, not when we’re dead.

Recently chef Mark Anthony presented a cooking class, and a ton of healthful information to Central.  Then we got to eat what he cooked.  So I thought I'd share a recipe from his website.

Cranberry Orange Scones

The St. Louis Shadows Pathfinder Club had a great year: it has grown to 21 Pathfinders. This year’s theme for [the] Pathfinders in Iowa-Missouri was “Created by Design”, focusing on the days of creation and God’s intelligent design. Throughout the year, Pathfinders had opportunities to understand how God demonstrates His love for them through His creation. The fall campout included a number of honors and activities: it taught Pathfinders more about creation; it offered them the opportunity to be close to nature through camping, and at honors weekend, they participated in a number of honors emphasizing evidence of God’s design.
